AlbaChem® Headliner Adhesive delivers a strong, reliable bond for lightweight headliners and trim materials used in marine, automotive, and upholstery applications. It is water resistant and able to withstand higher temperatures, making it especially suitable for marine environments. The non-staining formula dries clear and will not yellow over time, while the narrow spray stream allows for precise application in trim work and smaller areas. It bonds effectively to materials such as plastic, wood, and metal, and is commonly used for fabric-backed vinyl headliners, light carpet installation, insulation, van conversions, motor homes, manufactured housing, and decorative laminate work in furniture and cabinetry.

Note: Not recommended for use with unsupported vinyl fabric (vinyl without a fabric backing).

Directions for Use:

• Clean all bonding surfaces using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover to remove dust, dirt, oil, and contaminants before application.
• Shake can thoroughly before use.
• Hold can 6"–8" from the surface and spray evenly while keeping the can in motion. Apply a thin, even film and avoid heavy buildup.
• For permanent bonds, apply adhesive to both surfaces. For temporary or repositionable bonds, apply to one surface only.
• Allow adhesive to dry until tacky before bonding surfaces together.
• After use, invert can and spray until nozzle runs clear to prevent clogging.
• Excess adhesive or overspray can be removed using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover.
