Sailrite® Edge Cordless Hotknife 18V Package

The Sailrite^® Edge Cordless Hotknife is the most convenient way to cut and seal lengths of synthetic fabric, rope and webbing (i.e. acrylic, nylon, polyester, etc.) that would otherwise unravel when cut with scissors. This quick-heating blade is trigger operated and can achieve a temperature of 752°F (400°C) in seconds for the fastest and most precise cuts. An internal fan regulates the tool's temperature and prevents it from overheating.

The best and most convenient feature of this hotknife is its supreme portability! It relies on an exclusive rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack for power instead of a traditional plug-in cord so you can take it anywhere you want to go. You can easily bring it with you on your boat, in your vehicle, and from work station to work station. It’s completely untethered — no more cords to slow you down! You won’t have to worry about finding an outlet or extension cord while you work. The Edge Cordless Hotknife is perfect for marine, home, automobile, outdoor and hobby projects.

The Edge Cordless Hotknife comes with two rechargeable battery packs so one can always charge while you work, and the convenient plastic carrying case provides even greater mobility. The lithium-ion batteries only take 90 minutes to fully charge. During normal usage with heat cycling (not continuous use), most projects can be completed on a single battery charge!

The charger for the lithium-ion batteries is 110-240V. Always cut on an insulated cutting surface like the Tempered Cutting Glass for Hotknife (#121915, not included) or use the included cutting foot.

Warranty: Sailrite warrants this hotknife (with exception of the blades) for a period of one (1) year starting from the date of sale. The guarantee is given against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is voided by improper use, disassembly, repair or alteration by owner or unauthorized parties.

Please Note: This product should be used on synthetic fabrics only. Do not use this hotknife on natural fabrics such as cotton, leather or hemp. Read instructions thoroughly before use.
