AlbaChem® Super 88 Adhesive is a versatile, all-purpose spray adhesive designed for a wide range of craft and industrial applications. It is ideal for bonding paper, cardboard, photographs, labels, fabric, and many other materials, including textiles, wood, film, and plastic. This adhesive is commonly used for screen printing, art projects, embroidery, insulation application, and sailmaking. It is especially effective for temporarily holding fabrics in place prior to sewing—such as in corner patch assemblies on sails—helping eliminate bubbles and uneven layers before stitching.
Super 88 provides strong bonding performance while using less adhesive, offering excellent coverage of approximately 75 square feet when both surfaces are coated once. It features a mist spray pattern for even application, tacks up quickly, and is water resistant. The formula is designed not to wrinkle most porous surfaces and fabrics, making it suitable for delicate materials. It also contains no methylene chloride and is made with a synthetic rubber/hydrocarbon resin, with a maximum service temperature of 110°F.
This spray adhesive requires 24 to 48 hours to fully bond and cure.
Shipping Note: This product is classified as flammable and can only be shipped via ground service within the 48 contiguous United States. It cannot be shipped through the Post Office.
