Batten End Caps 5/8" are designed to protect your sails from fiberglass batten ends. Fiberglass battens are hard to sand smooth across the grain and tend to delaminate at the ends unless protected. These batten end caps are designed to fit tightly over the batten end and in most cases require a little filing at the batten ends.

Note: These end caps can be used with 5/8" pultruded battens only. They cannot be used with RBS or Recmar battens.
