Sailrite® Stainless Steel Thread Nippers

The Sailrite^® Stainless Steel Thread Nippers are handheld, knife-edge thread cutters for snipping threads and heavier yarns, as well as for making quick cuts through thick fabrics. These nippers have a spring-action design that opens the blades after each cut to reduce hand fatigue. They come with a cover to protect the blades when stored, and the finger loop ensures a secure hold while in use.

To Use: Place your middle finger through the loop. Place your index finger under the leg of the snip that has the finger loop on it. Rest your thumb on top of the other leg of the snip. Use your index finger and thumb to make the clipping action.

Care Recommendations: Occasionally placing a drop of oil in the pivot area will facilitate smooth cutting action. The inside surfaces of the blades should be wiped frequently with a dry cloth to remove accumulated lint.
