Description
Boat Blanket Fabric is an extremely durable, protective Spectropile fabric. This solution-dyed non-woven, plush polyester has a soft outer surface that acts like the loop side of Velcro®. Sew a strip of the hook side of Velcro to the Boat Blanket and fasten the sleeve around anything needing protection. Boat Blanket is easy to sew and is tough: UV and chemical resistant, and colorfast to withstand marine and outdoor environments.
Boat Blanket fabric is designed for use anywhere a soft, tough cover is required. There is a right and wrong side to this marine fabric, meaning that only the plush soft side should be exposed to the outside. Use Boat Blanket to make fender covers, anti-scorching dividers, pier piling covers, mooring and anchor line chafe guards, webbing sling pads and hiking strap covers.
Note: Boat Blanket is intended for use against gel coat and other hard-coated surfaces. Please use caution when using against painted or thin clear-coated surfaces.
Boat Blanket Cleaning Instructions: We recommend using Iosso Mold & Mildew Stain Remover to clean Boat Blanket material. Soak the material in the cleaner, and then rinse well and let dry.

Boat Blanket Great Material
Bought a large amount to do fender covers on all our fenders as well as a cover for our 50 amp 50 foot shore power cord. Very nice to work with, seems very durable. Highly recommend.

Awesome product and great service
First time working with this material to sew fender covers. Followed instructional videos and they came out great! This material is sure to hold up for a long time.
The best fender cover material.
Nice soft feel, good price hard to find anywhere else in small quantity
Easy to work with. Makes best fender covers I have ever found. You won't find anything like it in a marine store.
Boat Blanket is good tough stuff!
Good product, I use it for boat fenders and chafe guarding. Matches the Sunbrella taupe colours and looks sharp on the boat.
Boat blanket has lots of uses.
Great material, lots of uses. A unique feature is velcro hooks stick to it, so it makes wrap around fender covers easier to make. I'm trying it as a tool holder by attaching a carabiner shackle to one end of a strip and clipping it to my belt. Then fastening velcro hooks to tools, knives whatever you need close at hand either working on the boat or sailing. It's just right for one handed use.
