Description
A must-have tool! The Barry King Mallet Hammer Style 3# features a heavy nylon head fastened to a handmade leather-wrapped handle with polished brass fittings. This 3-pound mallet will deliver perfectly distributed, heavy blows to your hole cutters, setting tools and more. This means less effort and pounding when setting fasteners, grommets and cutting holes in thick fastener assemblies.
Using a standard hammer may take multiple blows and will damage the head of your tool, but this is not the case with the superior Barry King Mallet. That is why we strongly recommend this mallet for punching holes and using setting tools. The Barry King Mallet is a professional, high-quality tool that will save you both time and frustration on your next project.

A must have mallet
This really works wonders! This mallet is by no means cheap like the ones at the box stores, but don't waste your time trying those as they do not work for piercing canvas with the common sense eyelet cutter (for twistlock installation). I'm talking from experience. This works so effectively that I now know to trust Sailrite completely. There is a reason they sell the tools that they do to execute a job. There is nothing worse than cutting holes in your sewed canvas for the hardware, stressing whether or not the cut will ruin all of your hard work. If you have only a few to do, it is ok to cut by hand. Otherwise, this is the way to go. And the video tools they provide taught me how to. Lastly, this mallet is a beautiful, well crafted tool!
Smashing Mallet.
Very happy with this mallet. Just a couple lite taps and the hole is cut. Heavy, quality and a solid product.
