Reviews
You need to have the hole for this rivet EXACTLY the same size. I am talking mm size. 1mm and the rivet will pull thru the hole drilled! If you understand rivets, you will know with this style. I wasted my money!!!
Sailrite Response
We tested both the SnapRite Surface Mount Stud Die and the Sealing Blind Rivet and found that each performs exactly as expected when the stud is firmly set on a hard surface. We recommend that you ensure the die is held down firmly on to a hard surface. It may be that the snap stud being used are not the same specs as those offered by Sailrite, so we are open to testing the studs you are using.
