Allslip Flat Slide 5/8" is a low friction nylon plastic alloy slide used to make lowering sails easier. This sail slide has excellent strength and is long in length to reduce the possibility of jamming. Shoulder works well for compression loads. Sail slides are typically secured ahead of the boltrope and inserted in the mast slot instead of the rope. Secure the slide to a sail with webbing, webbing and grommet, shackle and grommet, or just a shackle. Sail slide also keep the sail stacked in the slot when a sail track stop is used. Ideal for full batten applications.
