This is a stainless steel shackle used to secure a slug or slide to a sail. This heavy-duty shackle has a stronger, more positive bolt closure than plastic shackles and is structurally reinforced to minimize deformation under extreme loads. Sail shackles are popular due to their quick installation time.
This shackle must be used with a pressed spur grommet in the edge of the sail.
