Use this extension bar as a riveted joint to connect multiple awning track pieces. The 48" extension bar can be cut to the recommended joint length of 8" with a hacksaw. Each 48" piece will create six riveted joints. After cutting to 8", each extension bar should have 1/8" holes drilled (through both the extension bar and awning track) and be secured with two rivets at each end of the joint. The package includes 30 aluminum blind rivets for installation. A rivet installation tool is not included.
