3M™ Hi-Tack Spray Adhesive is an industrial-grade adhesive designed to create strong, reliable bonds on a wide range of difficult-to-bond materials. This fast-tacking, translucent adhesive bonds rubber, fabric, felt, foil, cardboard, wood, metal, glass, polyethylene, polypropylene, and many plastics to themselves or other surfaces. It is an excellent choice for foam-backed headliner projects, heavy carpet installations, and other demanding upholstery and fabrication applications.
The adhesive becomes tacky in as little as one to two minutes and delivers high-strength bonding performance when applied to both surfaces, with a working time of nearly one hour. For single-surface applications, bonding should be completed within 10 minutes. Its variable-width lace/web spray pattern and low-misting formula help reduce overspray while providing precise application control.
Coverage: Approximately 28 square feet (covering both surfaces once)

Directions for Use:
- Clean bonding surfaces thoroughly using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover to remove dust, dirt, oil, and contaminants before application.
- Shake can well before and periodically during use.
- Adjust spray pattern width by turning spray tip to desired setting.
- Hold can 4"–8" from the surface and apply a uniform coat.
- Apply adhesive to one or both surfaces as needed. Applying to both surfaces is recommended for maximum bond strength.
- Bond surfaces while adhesive remains aggressively tacky.
- For stronger bonds, apply a second coat perpendicular to the first and allow at least one minute of drying time before bonding.
- Join surfaces using firm, even pressure.
- After use, invert can and spray until nozzle runs clear. Clean spray tip with turpentine if needed.
- Excess adhesive or overspray can be removed using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover.
