Gingher® Scissors Left Handed are knife-edged dressmaker shears designed for cutting tough polyester and other synthetic fabrics. These shears feature a long, precision-ground, knife-edge blade that cuts multiple layers of fabric easily — all the way to the tip! The bent-handle design of these shears makes cutting on a table easy and comfortable. A storage sheath is included to protect the blades when not in use. The shears’ knife-edge can be re-sharpened with a Sharpening Stone (sold separately). Ideal for cutting patterns, trimming seams or cutting long swaths of fabric; they even work well on slippery nylon and Dacron® sailcloth.
To Use: Start the initial cut and slide along the fabric for a quick, clean cut.
Please Note: Scissors are available in right- and left-handed versions. These are left-handed scissors.
Use & Care: Occasionally placing one drop of oil in the pivot area will facilitate a smooth cutting action. The inside surfaces of the blades should be wiped frequently with a dry cloth to remove accumulated lint.

Top notch scissors
A gift for my granddaughter. She loves them.
Great gift
I have always used Ginger scissors. This purchase was for my granddaughter as she is beginning to see and struggled cutting as she is left handed. Thank you for considering left handed people. She was thrilled to get it!
Very good
These scissors made a wonderful birthday present for my friend. Good sturdy scissors with a lil bit of weight to them.
Excellent articule for left Hand people
great working sissors
My first pair of lefty scissors, nice
The scissors had the slightest knick in the blade and did not cut smoothly or correctly. I sharpended them on a diamond wheel, removed the knick, and now they work well. These scissors are very sharp and once you get a cut going you can push the scisssors to cut the material versus having to cut, cut, cut. I'd probable buy them again.
