The HandyPress® Twist-Lock Dual Snap Setter Kit (Eyelet Back) is the easiest, fastest and most convenient way to install eyelet back Twist-Lock fasteners. Eyelet backs provide a lower profile than button backs on the back side of your application. This four-piece snap setter kit sets the snap eyelets using the HandyPress®. No more struggling with handheld punches and mallets. With just a pull of the HandyPress lever, you can install eyelet back Twist-Lock fasteners in record time. This snap setter kit installs nickel-plated brass and stainless steel Twist-Lock fasteners, as well as double-high Twist-Lock fasteners.

Note: If you want the option of installing snap fastener buttons, simply order the additional HandyPress® Two-Button Cavity Snap Fastener Installation Die #126921.

To Use: 

Punching Holes:

First punch holes in your assembly for hardware installation. Use the HandyPress® Twist-Lock Dual Hole Punch Set (#126881, sold separately) or another hole-punching tool. For the Twist-Lock Dual Hole Punch Set: Thread the two punch tubes onto the adapter’s outer holes. Then, thread the adapter onto the HandyPress main vertical shaft. Set the workbench with cutting board so the back fence edge sets your desired fastener distance from the fabric edge. Follow the instructions in the HandyPress guidebook to set the tool for optimal results. 

Installing Fasteners:

Remove the Twist-Lock Dual Hole Punch Set. Thread the two Screw-In Installation Tools onto the 3-Hole Punch & Setter Adapter’s outer holes and thread onto the HandyPress main vertical shaft. Insert the Lower Die into the HandyPress base and tighten the Thumscrew for Lower Adapter. Place two Twist-Lock eyelets in the Lower Die’s cavities. Raise or lower the upper shaft until the Screw-In Installation Tools are positioned to roll-form the rivets and are aligned with the eyelet barrels. Place your hole-punched canvas and Twist-Lock fastener stud over the eyelet barrels. Lower the HandyPress lever and set the fastener. 

Tip: Add the optional HandyPress® Ruler to aid in the consistency and efficiency of fastener hole spacing.
