DOT^® Lift-The-DOT^® Fastener Double Height Screw Stud is a strong and heavy-duty nickel-plated brass fastener that can be used in cloth-to-surface applications. This is the "male portion" of the Lift-The-DOT system. Machine screws are recommended for hard metal surfaces requiring tapped threads or applications that utilize a washer and nut. They are often used to secure boat covers and dodgers.

Lift-The-DOT fasteners lock on three sides and are opened by lifting the fourth side where the dot and trademark appear. This stud installs to a hard surface with the attached machine screw. Pre-drill a hole prior to installing the stud. An installed socket and backplate (female side) snaps onto the installed stud (male side). This stud is twice the standard height and is able to hold two sockets.
