Lift-The-DOT Standard Legs Socket is a strong and heavy-duty brass fastener with a black finish. It can be used in cloth-to-cloth or cloth-to-surface applications. Lift-The-DOT fasteners lock on three sides and are opened by lifting the fourth side where the dot and trademark appear. The prongs on the bottom of the socket secure a backplate (sold separately). The installed socket and backplate snap onto the installed stud and backplate. These fasteners are often used to secure boat covers and dodgers.
