Lift-The-DOT® Extended Legs Socket is a strong and heavy-duty nickel-plated brass fastener that can be used in cloth-to-cloth or cloth-to-surface applications. Lift-The-DOT fasteners lock on three sides and are opened by lifting the fourth side where the dot and trademark appear. The prongs on the bottom of the socket secure a backplate (sold separately). The installed socket and backplate snap onto the installed stud and backplate. The extended legs of this socket make it great for thick fabric applications. These fasteners are often used to secure boat covers and dodgers.
