Usage Recommendations

Use this Tex 90 thread with a #18 or #20 needle on 6-10 oz. fabrics (including all Sunbrella® fabrics). For users of the Sailrite® Ultrafeed® Sewing Machine, we recommend a #20 needle.

For optimal performance, the thread should be pulled up off the top of the cone. This adds an extra twist, which increases the thread's strength, helps prevent unlaying, and can ease tension issues, ensuring a smoother feed to your sewing machine.
