Description

This is a stainless steel shackle used to secure a slug or slide to a sail. It has a stronger, more positive bolt closure than plastic shackles and is structurally reinforced to minimize deformation under extreme loads. Sail shackles are popular due to their quick installation time.

This shackle must be used with a pressed spur grommet in the edge of the sail. All stainless steel shackles should be installed with a plastic insert to reduce wear on the sail. Inserts are sold separately.
