This is a 1 1/4" stainless steel round ring and is very strong for many applications. This ring is useful for the head and tack corners of roller reefing headsails or at the corners of structural awnings or covers. Use sewn straps of Dyneema® or a tubular polyester webbing to secure the ring. Or use waxed whipping twine to hand sew the ring to a sailcloth assembly. Press and flare out an eyelet through the open hole of the sewn ring to protect the twine whipping from chafe. Made of Type 316 stainless steel for ultimate durability and corrosion resistance.

Note: In the past a cast solid brass ring would have been used for sewn ring and eyelet assemblies. But quality brass rings are no longer available.
