3M™ Super Trim Spray Adhesive is a high-strength, fast-acting spray contact adhesive designed for bonding automotive and marine trim materials such as vinyl tops, carpeting, headliners, and hood silencer pads. It is also effective for attaching polyurethane, Dry Fast, and closed-cell foams to themselves, as well as bonding heavyweight fabrics and carpet padding. Known for its strong hold and resistance to heat, water, and plasticizers, it delivers reliable performance in demanding interior applications.
This adhesive is commonly used for medium to heavyweight materials, including cloth-backed and foam-backed headliners, carpeting, and even styrene panels. Its aggressive bonding strength makes it effective for tough applications, though it should be used with care on lighter fabrics due to potential bleed-through.
Coverage: Approximately 34 square feet (covering both surfaces vertically and horizontally)
Note: Not recommended for polyethylene, polypropylene, or polystyrene foams (EPS, Styrofoam).
Shipping Note: This product is flammable and can only be shipped via ground service within the 48 contiguous United States. It cannot be shipped via the Post Office.

Directions for Use:
- Clean all surfaces thoroughly using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover to remove dust, dirt, and oils before application.
- Remove cap and align nozzle to the spray dot on the can rim.

- Allow adhesive to dry between coats if multiple applications are needed.
- Bond when adhesive is tacky and does not transfer to the skin (typically 5–60 minutes).
- Apply firm, even pressure when joining surfaces.
- After use, invert can and spray to clear nozzle. Clean spray tip with turpentine if needed.
- Excess adhesive or overspray can be removed using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover.
