3M Foam Fast 74 Spray Adhesive provides industrial-level strength for demanding applications. Bonds paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, wood.
Description
This low VOC spray adhesive delivers professional, industrial-strength bonding for demanding applications involving foam, fabric, and a wide variety of other materials. Its fast-drying, clear formula bonds to paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, wood, and more, providing strong, reliable adhesion for high-stress projects and assemblies.
Designed for quick application and efficient coverage, the adhesive becomes tacky in as little as two minutes and offers a bonding window of up to ten minutes after tack-up. The adjustable-width lace spray pattern allows for controlled application with minimal overspray, while the non-yellowing formula dries clear for a clean, professional finish.
Coverage: Approximately 32 square feet (covering both surfaces once)
Shipping Note: This product is flammable and can only be shipped via ground service within the 48 contiguous United States. It cannot be shipped via the Post Office.

Directions for Use:
- Clean all bonding surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, oil, and contaminants before application.
- Adjust spray pattern width by turning the spray tip to the desired setting.
- Shake can well before each use for 5–10 seconds.
- Hold can 3"–5" from surfaces and apply a uniform coat of adhesive.
- Apply adhesive to both surfaces; one-surface bonding is not recommended.
- Allow adhesive to dry until aggressively tacky before bonding. Test tackiness by lightly touching with a knuckle—the adhesive should feel tacky without transferring.
- Apply firm pressure to ensure complete surface contact.
- To prevent nozzle clogging, invert can at the end of each day and spray until clear. Clean spray tip with turpentine if needed.
- Excess adhesive or overspray can be removed using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover.
