3M™ Super 77™ Spray Adhesive Low VOC is a fast-tacking, high-strength spray adhesive designed to bond a wide range of lightweight materials, including foils, plastics, paper, cardboard, metals, and fabrics. It delivers a clear, aggressive tack with low soak-in and a smooth, non-dimpling glue line for a clean, professional finish.

Ideal for both industrial and craft applications, Super 77 is commonly used to hold fabrics in place during sewing, secure materials in upholstery work, and assist in sailmaking applications such as bonding corner patches to help eliminate bubbles and uneven surfaces. It is also effective for temporarily positioning materials like batting on foam cushions, securing Sunbrella® during roller furling sun cover installations, and patterning with materials such as Dura-Skrim® on contoured foam.

With a coverage of approximately 135 square feet when both surfaces are coated once, this adhesive provides excellent efficiency. It features a mist spray pattern for even application, quick tack performance, and a maximum service temperature of 150°F. The low VOC, synthetic elastomer formulation makes it a versatile choice for both professional and general-purpose use.

Directions for Use:

• Clean all bonding surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, oil, and other contaminants before application.
• Shake can well before use and periodically during application.
• Hold can 6"–10" from the surface while spraying.
• For permanent bonds, spray both surfaces evenly. For temporary bonds, apply a light coat to one surface for easier repositioning or removal.
• Allow adhesive to dry until it becomes aggressively tacky before bonding surfaces. Test tackiness by gently touching with a knuckle; it should feel tacky without transferring.
• If too dry, apply an additional coat before bonding.
• When bonding expanded polystyrene foam, allow the solvent to flash off for about 10 minutes before joining surfaces.
• At the end of each day, clear the nozzle by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear. Clean nozzle with turpentine if needed.
• Excess adhesive or overspray can be removed using 3M™ Specialty Adhesive Remover.
