Use Neatsfoot Oil as a pretreatment to repel water and to protect the leather item from the stiffening and drying effect of outdoor exposure. Use Neatsfoot Oil as a restorative after exposure to bring back the moisture, softness and pliability of your leather item.

Neatsfoot Oil is a natural preservative for all leather goods subjected to rugged use and regular outdoor exposure. If your leather item is looking brittle and dry, Neatsfoot Oil will restore it and replace the oils that have evaporated over time. This product is for smooth leathers only. Do not use on suede. Neatsfoot Oil may permanently darken light-colored leather. Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous section of your leather item before using.

Directions:

Ensure the leather item is clean before application. With a soft cloth or sponge, apply a light coating of Neatsfoot Oil. Allow the oil to penetrate the leather thoroughly, and then rub briskly with soft, dry cloth.
