Lift-The-DOT Cloth-to-Surface is a top-quality nickel-plated brass fastener for cloth-to-surface applications.
Description
Lift-The-DOT® Cloth-to-Surface is a top-quality nickel-plated brass fastener for cloth-to-surface applications. Lift-The-DOT fasteners lock on three sides and are opened by lifting the fourth side where the dot and trademark appear. These heavy-duty fasteners will not rust or corrode in a marine environment and are often used to secure boat covers.
To install, use a knife to cut the slits for the socket and use pliers to bend the prongs over the backing plate. You can use the Lift-The-DOT® Hole Cutter to punch the hole and all four slits at once. To install the stud, drill a small pilot hole to start the installation and screw into surface.
