Odyssey^® is an acrylic-coated polyester cover fabric with a urethane coating on one side for water resistance. This 300 denier fabric has excellent strength, tear and abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, as well as UV and mildew resistance. It’s an economical choice for outdoor and marine covers!

Odyssey is also certified to meet the requirements for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) gowns in healthcare facilities. Odyssey has passed Levels 1, 2 and 3 of ANSI/AAMI PB70:2012 Liquid Barrier Performance standards, which is recognized by the FDA. Level 3 medical gowns are appropriate for the widest range of surgical procedures, where moderate fluid protection is indicated.

There is a right and wrong side to Odyssey. This fabric has a coated side, which features a smooth texture and a slight reflective sheen that can be seen in the light. This side should not be exposed to the sun. This fabric also features a 3-year limited warranty to ensure its performance capabilities.

Note: The term denier refers to the fiber thickness of individual threads or filaments used in the creation of textiles and fabrics. Fabrics with a high denier count tend to be thick, sturdy and durable.
