Top Notch® 9 is 100% solution-dyed polyester with a fluorocarbon finish, creating a fabric that is breathable, reversible and water-repellent. The solution-dyed polyester fabric won't fade and provides superior strength compared to other solution-dyed fabrics. Top Notch 9 provides strength, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability and UV resistance, making it ideal for most outdoor and marine environments. Due to the weave and finish of Top Notch 9, it is mildew resistant and does not noticeably shrink, stretch or sag.
In addition to being one of the best outdoor fabrics, Top Notch 9 fabric is easy to sew and maintain! Both sides of this marine fabric are the same, meaning that either side can be exposed to the outside. Top Notch 9 is perfect for marine awnings, dodgers, biminis, sacrificial sail covers, enclosures, sail covers, outdoor covers and more!

The fabric was a good choice for a pontoon Bimini. I was satisfied with the weight of the fabric. The Bimini turned out great.
Easy to sew!
I bought some of this fabric to recreate a shaded hood for an outdoor sofa around our pool. This was not a simple project, but after tearing apart the old hood to use as a pattern, we cut and stitched up the replacement. Despite how heavy this fabric is compared to the sunbrella fabric it replaced, I found that by following the thread and needle recommendations my home husquevarna machine had no trouble seeing through even 6 layers. I did have to set the thread tension on max to get the stitch to be centered in the middle of the fabric layers.
Wears like iron!
I used this material to make a grill cover ! I watched the video on Sailrite and it came out great! fits good and wont blow off! I also used there bungee cord at the bottom to keep it snug !
nice material.! sews on old sewing machine just fine. I bought this material to replace Surlast that did not repel water very well I would give this material 5 stars if I was able to test it on the boat but that wont be for a several months. The material is very flexible and not stiff like a lot of the higher end material. I also like that it is reversible so you can use it either side up which helps . I have tested trying to tear the material and rip it wit a screwdriver and it held up great
Not as I had hoped this fabric to be. Heavier than I needed, good color match.
It looks as though you're matching the PKL Outdoor Antique Stone Spring fabric. I would recommend a Sunbrella fabric as they're indoor/outdoor and there are a number of options in the Navy Blue range. A very good match would be Sunbrella Canvas Navy #5439-0000. Such a pretty combination!
