Calling all tabletop gamers and board game enthusiasts! You'll be the envy of your next game night when you bring your dice set in a custom-made leather dice bag. This DIY dice pouch is a simple project that's great for beginner leather crafters. Download the free dice bag pattern template to make a bag for every set of dice you have, or make matching bags for everyone in your group. This is a fun DIY adventure that you'll want to go on again and again.

For our dice bag, we used two types of leather: chrome tanned and vegetable tanned. Why? Because of their texture differences. Chrome tan has a soft, supple feel, and its flexibility allows it to take shapes well. On the other hand, veg tan's smooth finish easily accepts stamping, giving you the option to personalize your bag. These different textures give the finished bag a multidimensional look and feel with plenty of medieval flair.

Want to know the best part about this bag? It doesn't just have to be used for dice. You can use this dice bag sewing pattern to make a pouch for just about anything. Your finished bag will look just as great as part of a cosplay or Renaissance Faire costume as it will at your next D&D campaign. Or, put it in your everyday backpack or purse to hold smaller items — such as keys, headphones and more — that tend to get lost in a large bag.

This bag's generous size makes it ideal for holding multiple dice sets and more.
