Lift-The-DOT® Eyelet-Type Base Stud is a strong and heavy-duty nickel-plated brass fastener that can be used in cloth-to-cloth applications. Lift-The-DOT fasteners lock on three sides and are opened by lifting the fourth side where the dot and trademark appear. The barrel on the bottom of the stud secures a washer (sold separately). An installed socket and backplate snap onto the installed stud and washer. These fasteners are often used to secure boat covers and dodgers.
