DOT® Twist-Lock Fastener Eyelet (Extended Legs) is an eyelet with longer prongs designed specifically for use with thicker fabric assemblies (up to 9 layers of canvas). This eyelet has a total height of 13/32" compared to the 5/16" height of a standard eyelet. DOT Twist-Lock Eyelets, also known as Common Sense®, are high-quality, nickel-plated brass for use in a marine environment.
