This is an open, U-shaped ring that is typically bent into a circular formation in order to lock two cords together, creating a stop or a fixed loop end. Use with 5/16" shock cord.
Description
This is an open, U-shaped ring that is typically bent into a circular formation in order to lock two cords together. Made of Grade 304 stainless steel, these rings can be bent while still maintaining the ring integrity. Use these Hog Rings as a quick way to create a loop in the end of a piece of shock cord. Simply squeeze together with Hog Ring Pliers or Vice Grips to secure.
3/4" wide Hog Rings are compatible with 5/16" shock cord.
Note: For SuperShok Bungee Cord use of the Sailrite Hog Ring Pliers is generally a requirement. Other tools don't crimp as tightly.
