How to Change the Edge Hotknife Cutting Blade
not sure about other hot knives, I almost returned original knife, SOOOOO glad I didn't! I do Alot of sunbrella/perennials cushions, and other than the smell from cutting product ( do with some ventilation or a fan) this is the balm diggity! cuts beautifully seals edge of fabric so no serging required. I love that it gets hot instantly, and yet, when not engaged, isn't sucking up Watts! not sure how fast it cools off so just don't touch! HAHA
Makes accurate cutting easy
This is a great tool to use with the "foot attachment" that enables accurate cuts while heat sealing the cut edge. Its amazing how many layers of sail cloth can be cut with a single pass
Works AWESOME to cut through and seal most any material. And super fast too!
Muy buena calidad, se nota que saben fabricar buenas soluciones
Works with a solder gun, (slight mod)
It worked when attached to my wen soldering iron. I had to remove the brace and substitute a 1/4" bolt nut and 2 washers to hold it in place. My wen iron had rod holes a little closer together. Worked great.
We thought our hot knife was dying and might need to be replaced. Turns out that all we needed was a new cutting blade. It's like a brand new knife!
Not just anotyher hot knife blade
Cuts through nylon and polypropylene like a hot knife through ... dammit Jim, this is a hot knife!
The heating blades I received this time were of a very poor quality, they broke in a single use. Earlier the blades used to get had a red plastic bit this time the one I have received has got a white plastic. Earlier the blades used to last for 2-3 months but this time, they didn't even last a day.
