Achieve better feeding than any other cording foot set! This 1/4" cording foot set is engineered to take curves perfectly without getting stuck or walking over the cording. This set is recommended for sewing piping assemblies with a 1/4" diameter (inclusive of the cord and the fabric). This generally means it is a great choice for cording between 5/32 and 3/16" diameter depending upon the thickness of the fabric or vinyl wrapping around the cord. It is the wrapped diameter of the cording that should determine the appropriate size of cording foot. Set includes both the inside and outside feet.

Please Note: When this cording foot is used with the 5/32" medium welting cord and thick upholstery fabric/vinyl, it works great. However, if the fabric is thin it will not work as well. If you plan to sew with a thin fabric, a smaller cording foot is best. Conversely, sewing 3/16" or larger cording with a thick upholstery fabric will not work as well since the piping diameter gets too large. When the assembly is too large it might become necessary to use a zipper foot to create and sew piping.
