Occasionally we have paint blemish Fabricator Sewing Machines available for sale. They are brand-new sewing machines that did not pass our quality checks due to superficial paint flaws. The machines have gone through our entire tuning and testing process, and we still maintain the two-year Fabricator warranty. We will service it and support it just like any other machine.

The Sailrite® Standard Fabricator® Sewing Machine Package is a sewing machine to build your business on. A full-size industrial, straight stitch sewing machine with a compound walking foot, the Fabricator was designed for canvas, upholstery and awning shops. It’s also a great choice for the serious DIYer. The Fabricator allows for slow, controlled sewing at full power, so you can take your time creating the most precise stitches possible. The Workhorse® Servo Motor

The Fabricator is powered by Sailrite’s Workhorse® Servo Motor, which provides a fluid motor to machine power transfer. The Workhorse runs quietly and is both energy-saving and durable. It also features fully adjustable speed settings—you can set your top stitching speed and maintain variable speed control. The Workhorse is used in conjunction with a 43" cogged timing belt and our oversized Stitch PRO Balance Wheel. This arrangement is the first of its kind with a servo motor and provides maximum power while maintaining slow-speed sewing control. The combination of the oversized Stitch PRO Balance Wheel and single belt acts as an integrated speed reducer.

Posi-Pin® Protection

For the first time on an industrial machine, the Fabricator is also fitted with Sailrite’s patented Posi-Pin® Safety Shear (Patent #7438009), which protects your machine from damage. If you sew over something you shouldn’t, or the machine binds, the pin will break and your machine will stop operating in order to protect the machine. Pulling the pin out also makes the machine stop working, which is an excellent bonus safety feature. 

Helpful Features

The Fabricator offers many extra features to make sewing easier. An extra high foot lift easily fits thicker assemblies, but the Fabricator will also sew thinner assemblies, so it can be your go-to machine for all kinds of projects! Like other industrial sewing machines, the Fabricator features a large rotary hook, which reduces the frequency of bobbin winding, and plenty of underarm space for comfortable sewing, even with larger projects. Quickly raise the presser foot with the built-in knee lift. The laser engraved needle plate features helpful guides for seam allowance. Plus, an attached bobbin winder mechanism lets you wind bobbins without unthreading your machine and allows for bobbin winding while you sew.
