This is not only a high-quality cover to protect your machine from dust and debris, but it is also a wonderful way to improve your sewing skills. Many important sewing techniques are required to create this dust cover, giving you the confidence to advance your skills in canvaswork.

Here are just a few of the skills you'll learn while making this dust cover:

• How to create hem and seam lines on waxed canvas.
• How to remove wrinkles, presser foot tracks and other marks from waxed canvas.
• How to remove extra bulk from a double hem corner.
• How to use a hembob.
• How to sew a curved fabric panel flush with the straight edge of another fabric panel.

This Ultrafeed Dust Cover Kit comes with all the supplies you need to sew your own dust cover. The cover is made from DuraWax™ Light Waxed Canvas, a rugged and durable waxed cotton duck fabric. The pattern comes pre-plotted on reusable Sailrite® Patterning Material. The pattern pieces are even numbered for you, making assembly a breeze. Once the patterning material template pieces are cut out, you can reuse them again and again with new fabric to make as many dust covers as you want.

This versatile dust cover is compatible with the Ultrafeed LS and LSZ, as well as the Sailrite® Leatherwork® Sewing Machine. Use the cover with the Industrial Sewing Table, Compact Sewing Table, Collapsible Sewing Table and Industrial Carrying Case. It has two large pockets to store your machine’s guidebook, small tools and notions, or any other supplies you want to keep close at hand.
