Sew it yourself! The Sailrite® Leather Glasses Case Kit includes the pattern and materials you need to sew a gorgeous bespoke glasses case. The case features a panel of gorgeous, full grain 4 to 5 oz. veg tan leather in five colors: black, brown, chocolate, tan or natural (untreated). This is a simple project perfect for beginner leather crafters who want to practice their technique and learn some basic leather skills. In fact, if you nest your panel pieces carefully you can make up to three cases!

Here are just a few of the skills you’ll learn while making these bags:

• How to burnish leather.
• How to detail-cut/precision-cut leather.
• How to sand and bevel leather edges.
• How to install rivets.
• How to topstitch leather.
• And more!

The pattern comes pre-plotted on patterning paper. The pattern pieces are labeled for you, making assembly a breeze. Once the pieces are cut out, we recommend gluing the paper pattern to a backing Material like poster board or cardboard to make a reusable template.
