Lovely color

It's the most beautiful shade of greyish blue, we combined it with captain navy and cream paint, looks lovely and it's very pleasing to the eye

NOT as pictured!

First, this fabric is stiff as cardboard and very uncomfortable. But, what’s way worse, is it has a pattern not shown in the picture. There is a subtle design that of water reflection. I bought this fabric and has it shipped directly to our upholsterer to refinish our outdoor couch/chair cushions to match all of the Pottery Barn dinning chair/bench cushions we just bought, also in Sunbrella Sapphire. They don’t match. And since she already refinished everything there’s nothing we can do about it. I’m so disappointed! We spent over $2000 redoing our outdoor cushions to end up with something that doesn’t even match. Failing to disclosing a pattern on fabric is a pretty big deal.

Sailrite Response

Sunbrella and Sailrite offer both Marine Grade Fabrics and Upholstery Grade. This fabric is of the Marine variety and is generally used for boat covers, biminis, dodgers and enclosures. It is also sometimes used for awnings. It can be used for rugged upholstery but we agree it is stiffer and the surface is a bit coarse. It will soften with use and get more comfortable. There is no pattern to this fabric. It is considered to be a solid color line by Sunbrella. We are sorry this was not the color match or material match that you had hoped for. In the future please keep in mind that we offer fabric samples as way to check before you purchase.
