Sudden movements of the foot pedal to operate the motor, especially when not attached to the machine, may blow the protective fuse in the WorkerB Power Pack. The cause is any sudden excessive rotation speed which can create large amounts of rotational inertia. To avoid blowing fuses always make smooth linear speed changes when operating the sewing machine – Don’t stomp on the foot pedal quickly.

Regardless of your operation style, pedal stomp or not, we built in a "slow start" protection device to mitigate this issue. But we did not want to create too dead of a start feel so we kept is very small. Under normal sewing operation this delay to operation is not noticeable given the normal action of slowly depressing the pedal to start sewing.

But if needed there is a way to reset parameters within the WorkerB Power Pack. Excessive fuse blowing issues can be solved by adjusting the min and max pot settings. If you are blowing fuses frequently, yours may have been set too high initially.

To adjust yours we recommend following one of these videos (One for North American customers using 110V power; One for International customers using 230V power)

Please note that your internal parts of the Control Box may look slightly different compared to our model as shown in the video.
